What do you get when you combine awe for pregnancy and childbirth with a strong drive to help people? After asking herself that question, Kate Jacobs was thrilled to start training as a birth doula in August, 2016.
Kate is a Dayton native who, after going away for college, made Dayton her home once more. She married her husband Josh in 2012, and now has both a son and a daughter.
When she's not studying childbirth or chasing down a rambunctious toddler, Kate loves reading (and attempting to write) books, hiking, and absurd conversations with her husband and friends.
